Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research new sales leads and opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key contacts
- Understand customer application to provide technical guidance and value-added options
- Coordinating with operations and logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Track activities and meet/exceed monthly performance targets.
- Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline activity in the CRM
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in metal distribution
- Knowledge of hot rolled mild steel and specialty metals is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and eagerness to learn new tools.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and team oriented.
- Excellent communication, follow-up and relationship-building skills
- Ability to read structural drawings & generate material take-offs an asset
