Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, freight handling, and automotive repair are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport freight across various locations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or related logistics roles.
- Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred.
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
