Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care for animals, assisting veterinarians with procedures, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. The Registered Veterinary Technician will be responsible for procuring and performing diagnostic tests, administering treatments, and supporting client education to promote animal health.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures with precision and care
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
- Monitor anesthesia and recovery processes during surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient interactions thoroughly
- Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and post-treatment care
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and treatment areas
- Support the overall workflow of the clinic by managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Training and management of technical staff.
Experience
- Valid registration or licensure as a Veterinary Technician is required
- Laboratory experience is highly preferred to efficiently perform diagnostic testing and analysis
- Prior experience working in a veterinary setting is mandatory; training will be provided for specific protocols
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach toward animals and clients are essential
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $36.00-$38.00 per hour
