This is a permanent position commencing September 8, 2026.
Subjects include: Intro to Automotive Technology 10S, Exploration of Trades & Technology 10S, Intro to Heavy Duty Equipment 20S, Auto Systems & Service 20S, Engine Fundamentals & Service 30S.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Vocational Teacher's Certificate
- Possess a Red Seal designation in Auto Tech.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply best teaching practices for diverse learners.
- Have experience and understanding with differentiated instruction, assessment and universally designed programming.
- Have experience working within a collaborative grade team approach.
- Possess through knowledge of Automotive Technology curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Model quality, inclusive teaching and assessment practices that promote student success.
- Possess strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Have skills and abilities to work with student exceptionalities.
- Use multiple strategies appropriate for particular students' learning styles.
Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check will be required.
