Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Custom Residential Carpenters to join our team building high-end custom homes in West Vancouver and Vancouver. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter who takes pride in precision workmanship and enjoys working on architect-designed projects.
'Responsibilities'
- Read and interpret architectural blueprints and schematics to execute precise carpentry work.
- min 7 years all round experience in forming, framing and finishing required.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure design specifications are met.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Manage materials including concrete forming, masonry, rebar installation, and finishing details.
- Assist in site preparation and heavy lifting as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
- Contribute to a seamless communication process between all project stakeholders.'
- Qualifications'
- Proven experience as a residential carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Expertise in blueprint reading, and related carpentry skills.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards and building codes.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license
- Must live in Greater Vancouver
