1st or 2nd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice
Regal Auctions is looking for a dependable and motivated Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our growing shop team.
This position offers the opportunity to gain experience working on a wide variety of cars, trucks, SUVs, and occasional specialty vehicles. Unlike a traditional repair shop, you'll be involved in vehicle inspections, diagnostics, light mechanical repairs, and preparing vehicles for auction in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.
Responsibilities
- Assist with vehicle inspections.
- Perform battery testing and replacements.
- Complete basic mechanical repairs and maintenance.
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Prepare vehicles for auction.
- Move and organize vehicles throughout the yard.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist with general shop operations as required.
Qualifications
- Registered 1st or 2nd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice (or actively enrolled and eligible to apprentice in Alberta).
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is considered an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
