Overview
We are seeking an HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent service to our clients while ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely.
Job Requirements
- (G) Drivers License with clean drivers abstract
- Minimum 313A & G2 Gas License
- Knowledge in sheet metal is an asset
- Minimum 5 years experience
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioners, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial settings
- Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand system layouts.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all installations and repairs.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Ability to build, plumb, weld, and perform appliance repair as needed.
- Experience with boiler systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
