Enhanced Living is hiring a casual Housekeeping Attendant at our Whisperwood Villa location at 160 St. Peters Rd. Shifts are from 7am to 3:30pm and we need people able to work weekends and weekdays. We are looking for individuals who are able start immediately and have previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping.
JOB DEMANDS :
- Strenuous physical activity involved (walking, standing, lifting).
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds; stretch arms above head; bend to clean under furniture.
- On feet most of workday
- Pushing, pulling, and lifting cleaning equipment and supplies
- Understanding and adherence to infection control guidelines is a priority
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to follow oral directions
- Ability to cooperate with other employees
- Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis
- Perform tasks despite frequent interruptions
- Economical use of supplies, and care for equipment used
- Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance after the training period is completed, and do so without injury to oneself or other individuals.
- Must have a clear criminal record with clearance in the vulnerable sector.
