RAPS is Seeking a part time Support worker to assist an individual with Autism (E110)

Days/ Hours: 50 hours a month* Flexible with schedule
Afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited toPersonal Hygiene prompting, support the client in development of independent life skills (meal planning and preparation, money management, organization ect), Provide support to client with community and peer connections, provide job/ volunteer opportunity coaching and procurement, participate in activities both in the home and community (swimming, SPCA activities, Ect) Mentorship and companionship.:
Note: the candidate must be comfortable with animals.
Qualifications: the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion, a class 5 driver’s license and vehicle, experience with Developmental disabilities, Specifically Autism. Having First aide/ CPR or similar relatable experience in other fields is considered an asset.
Rate of Pay: $21.06/ hour
