Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commission-Based Service Plumber to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality plumbing services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing systems according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for plumbing projects
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client satisfaction
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on-site
- Assist with related tasks such as carpentry or HVAC work as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing or related construction fields is required
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation is essential
- Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, welding, assembly, and the use of hand and power tools is preferred
- Prior experience with commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for installations and repairs
