Your Role
As an Automotive Service Technician, you'll play an essential role in delivering an exceptional ownership experience for every customer. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain Honda vehicles to manufacturer standards while working alongside an experienced team that values quality workmanship, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles according to Honda specifications.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and comprehensive multi-point inspections.
- Complete warranty repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Repair and service brakes, steering, suspension, driveline, electrical, HVAC, engine, and transmission systems.
- Perform tire services, wheel alignments, and accessory installations.
- Utilize Honda factory scan tools and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
- Review repair orders with Service Advisors and communicate recommended repairs.
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and service records.
- Stay current with Honda technical bulletins, recalls, campaigns, and ongoing training.
- Complete repairs safely, efficiently, and correctly the first time.
- Contribute to a positive team environment while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Is a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician (licensed apprentices with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply).
- Has strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
- Is dependable, motivated, and works well independently and as part of a team.
- Possesses excellent communication skills.
- Holds a valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Is comfortable using computers, electronic service information, and factory diagnostic equipment.
- Can operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Compensation & Benefits
Full-Time
Expected annual earnings: $80,000–$130,000+
Our straight-time compensation plan provides guaranteed earnings combined with an aggressive performance bonus, allowing top-performing technicians to earn well beyond the advertised range while enjoying the stability of predictable income.
