Our Nova Scotia-based client, a nationally recognized not-for-profit organization, is seeking a Program Coordinator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in grants administration, stakeholder engagement, and program coordination.
Working remotely, you will support the delivery of community funding initiatives by coordinating grant administration, supporting applicants and funding recipients, and providing operational assistance to the Community Impact team.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:

Serve as the primary point of contact for grant applicants, providing guidance throughout the application process and maintaining regular communication

Coordinate the full grant administration cycle, including outreach, application intake, review coordination, and close-out

Organize and facilitate the grant review process by coordinating review committees, scheduling meetings, and compiling reviewer feedback

Collaborate with internal program and finance teams to ensure grant data accuracy, compliance with funding guidelines, and timely processing of program activities

Coordinate and support virtual and occasional onsite monitoring activities with funding recipients across Canada

Track recipient progress against funding agreements and project deliverables, identifying potential risks or concerns

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Community Impact team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, maintaining filing systems, and updating departmental resources

Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and other administrative tasks to support efficient program operations
Experience & Attributes for Success:

2 - 3 years of experience in program coordination, grants administration, project administration, or other related role

Experience supporting grant programs, funding initiatives, or community-based programs is considered an asset

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable

Skilled at building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Passionate about supporting community-focused initiatives

Able to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
