Role Summary:
Our Northern Alberta branch is currently recruiting for Fire PMA Sales Representative who will be working as part of our team to develop and drive fire alarm preventative maintenance, and contract service sales throughout the region working out of our Edmonton Branch office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Focus on sales within an assigned geographic territory and/or assigned customer accounts including but not limited to inspection, deficiency, and renovation sales
- Manage and develop new and existing customer relationships with End-Users, distribution channels, engineers and contractors etc
- Quote systems and maintenance programs for customers with technical accuracy and within Company pricing guidelines
- Stay current in knowledge of life safety product features (including competitor technology), legislation, and regulations
- Attends trade shows, seminars and meetings that relate to the sales and marketing of the product(s)/services
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Proven customer relationship-building skills
- Proven sales experience, preference given to experience in the life safety industry.
- Proven fire alarm knowledge and/or fire alarm code knowledge preferred.
- Fire alarm industry technical experience considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of PC based applications (Microsoft Office Suite/CRM etc.)
- Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract for the province of Alberta
- Ability to travel on business throughout the province on occasion.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Sales or a graduate of a technical college would be valued.
