Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Handle food with care, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy service periods
- Restock supplies and ingredients as required to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Experience
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or food service roles is preferred
- Familiarity with cooking techniques and meal preparation in a restaurant setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is essential
- Experience working in the food industry or restaurant environment will be beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
