Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality, presentation, and consistency
- Assist with food prep tasks
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the team during busy service hours by providing timely and courteous food service
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal preparation
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food industry standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings
