Seeking a dedicated Part time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.
## Responsibilities
- Support pharmacists in dispensing medication accurately and efficiently
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
- Process prescriptions accurately and timely
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly
## Experience
- 2 years minimum prior experience as a pharmacy assistant.
- Kroll experience is a must.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while working in a fast-paced environment
