Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Evening & Weekend Laundry & Houseperson to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional service. Experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work flexible hours during evenings and weekends, contributing to a positive guest experience.
Duties
- Perform laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces through custodial tasks
- Assist with room preparation and turnover to ensure timely readiness for new guests
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens as needed
- Respond to guest requests relayed via radio from Front Desk such as room deliveries of towels, amenities, other supplies or other requests.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly
- Follow safety protocols and health standards to promote a safe environment for guests and staff
- Support other housekeeping or guest services tasks as required
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning preferred but not necessary we will also train
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during evening and weekend shifts
- Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude toward guest service and teamwork
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures is advantageous
This role is primarily for evenings and weekends, shift start times will vary however candidate must be available to work until 9pm or 10pm. Shift work, weekend work and working on holidays may be required. Exact hours will vary week to week depending on business volumes. We are looking for 1-2 people to fill this/these role(s).
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
