Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a busy dining establishment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and baristas to ensure efficient service delivery
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and food safety compliance
- Assist with food handling procedures, ensuring proper hygiene and safety protocols are followed
- Monitor restaurant operations to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Train new staff members in food service, hospitality standards, and restaurant policies
- Manage daily inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment
- Enforce cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Support staff during busy periods by serving customers or preparing food as needed
- Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, hospitality, and leadership within the team
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Previous experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and health standards in the food industry
- Barista experience is a plus for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
