The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field operations and ensuring crews complete work safely, efficiently, our quality standards.This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can lead a crew, keep jobs moving, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for what happens on site.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities
- Lead and direct field crews and subcontractors
- Assign daily tasks and ensure crews understand the scope of work
- Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule
- Monitor workmanship and address quality issues
- Read and understand work orders, scopes, plans, and specifications
- Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and site requirements
- Communicate job progress and issues to management
- Identify delays, deficiencies, or problems and report them promptly
- Complete daily site reports and required paperwork
- Track labour hours, materials, equipment, and job progress
- Ensure proper use and care of company tools, vehicles, and equipment
- Conduct site inspections and ensure the work area is kept organized
- Ensure workers follow company safety policies and procedures
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and incident reporting when required
- Assist with training and mentoring employees
- Coordinate with clients, property managers, subcontractors, and other trades as required
- Help ensure projects are completed on time and according to the approved scope
- Complete final inspections and identify deficiencies before job close-out
What We're Looking For
- Previous construction experience
- Previous supervisory or crew-lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction and maintenance work
- Ability to read and understand work orders and project scopes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Reliable and accountable
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Good problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with crews and subcontractors
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on site
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to travel between job sites as required

Pay: $27.78-$34.23 per hour
