Job Description
PBN Nurseries Ltd. dba Maple Leaf Nursery is a family operation located in the heart of the Matsqui flats in Abbotsford, British Columbia. We strive to grow top quality ornamental deciduous trees and shrubs providing our product all across Canada and into the United States.
Job Responsiblites :
Reporting to a supervisor or manager with responsibilities including: assist in pruning trees shrubs and plants, mix and prepare soils, pot and re-pot plants, assist in grafting activities, water plants, dig, load and stack trees, handling nursery stock, weeding and fertilizing, other duties related to agriculture
Qualification:
All the work is outdoors which requires rain gear, mud boots and physically demanding at times. Willing to work extra hours including Saturdays. Positive attitude. Horticulture knowledge and experience is an asset but not required. No Education required.
Terms of Employment:
Start Jan. 11, 2027 to Sept. 11, 2027
40-50 Hours per week.
$18.25 an hour + 4% holiday pay. (bonus offered according to work performance)
