Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming CNC equipment, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and quality control to produce precise components that meet strict specifications. The CNC Machinist will play a vital role in ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship within our facility.
Duties
- Operate CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines with precision and adherence to specifications.
- Program CNC equipment utilizing CAD software and G-code to produce complex parts efficiently.
- Set up and calibrate machines using tools like calipers, hand tools, and other measuring devices to ensure accuracy.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including troubleshooting issues related to Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the machining process using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Assist with welding, assembly, packaging, and warehouse tasks as needed to support production flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment.
- Knowledge of FANUC, MAZATROL, YASNAC, SIEMENS control and troubleshooting machine issues.
- Proficiency in CNC programming using CAD software like SolidWorks or related tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes including welding, press brake operation, and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and quality control procedures.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision manufacturing standards.

Pay: $21.69-$38.27 per hour
