Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Plumbers Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing and drain cleaning, providing an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential settings
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, safely and effectively under supervision
- Participate in the assembly of piping systems and fixtures according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and team members
Requirements
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools is advantageous
- Strong interest in plumbing trades with a desire to develop technical skills through on-the-job training
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in various outdoor or indoor environments
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to schematics and blueprints
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures throughout all phases of work
