Avalon Foster Program is looking for an energetic and skilled Youth Worker to support three to four teens in a foster home in south Guelph. This position involves working Sunday to Thursday, typically in the afternoon and evening hours during the week and during the day on Sunday.
Avalon is also seeking a skilled worker to work with a young female mother, Monday to Thursday and Saturday (involves driving to and from Toronto).
Preference will be given to candidates with a degree or diploma in a related field. College or university students with related experience will also be considered! Experience working with youth is an asset.
The wage for this position is $22 per hour, plus a wage enhancement from the Ontario government (total $25 per hour).
