Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation and service by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality settings is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Duties
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including ingredient prep and plating support
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and storage spaces
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items in accordance with safety guidelines
- Support the serving staff during busy periods by providing clean dishes and utensils quickly
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen environment safe and hygienic
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with food preparation or cooking is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of sanitation
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food service processes
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
