About Lice Squad
Lice Squad is Canada's trusted lice removal service, providing safe, effective, and judgment-free treatment for families across the country. We're looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Lice Technician to join our Burlington and Hamilton team.
The Role
As a Lice Technician, you'll be the hands-on expert our clients rely on. You'll perform professional lice and nit removal treatments in a calm, supportive environment, helping families feel relief and confidence after every appointment. No experience with lice removal? No problem, full training is provided.
What You'll Do
- Perform thorough head checks and lice removal treatments on clients of all ages
- Conduct treatments both at our clinic locations and at client homes (mobile visits)
- Educate clients and families on lice prevention and aftercare
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and welcoming treatment space
- Accurately document treatments and client notes
- Represent the Lice Squad brand with professionalism and warmth
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, patient, and detail-oriented, especially with children
- Comfortable working hands-on in a close-contact setting
- Strong communication skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle — travel between Burlington and Hamilton is required
- Previous experience in hair, healthcare, or childcare is an asset
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Position Details
This is a part-time, on-call position averaging 15–20 hours per week, serving clients across both Burlington and Hamilton. You'll have the flexibility to choose the hours you're available — simply call in your availability and we'll schedule appointments within your preferred windows. Treatments are conducted at our clinic locations as well as at client homes, so comfort with both settings is essential. A reliable vehicle is required as travel between locations is part of the role. Scheduling may include some evenings and weekends. All new hires receive full hands-on training — no prior lice removal experience required.
