Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Brick Restoration Steam Cleaning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be working in small to medium size teams to complete brick restoration projects; like heritage brick restoration steam cleaning, paint removal, interior exposed wall cleaning and new construction brick washing.
The ideal candidate will possess high level experience working off ladders or scaffold and have experience using a hot water / steam power washer.
Your expertise and skills will play a crucial role in ensuring that the projects we work on will look amazing and preserve the historical architecture for 100s of years to come, while adhering to safety standards and quality control measures.
Duties
- Operate boom lifts, drive company trucks and wash with steam cleaning machines.
- Utilize basic tools like brushes, scrapers, sanders, grinders as well as basic repair tools such as wrenches, sockets and vice grips.
- Work with a level of proficiency and safety around and on ladders.
- Perform brick washing as directed by the jobs scope of work
- Prep the work area to reduce risk of damage
- Handle brick cleaning detergents safely
- Collaborate with team members to develop job plans that meet client expectations.
- Keep in contact with the supervisor during a project.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to minimize risks on the job site.
Skills / Experience
- High level of ladder and scaffold skills
- Experience operating Boom Lifts
- Experience with basic tools, sanders, grinders, wrenches, sockets etc.
- Power washing experience
- Basic construction or masonry knowledge
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail

Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
