Since 2022, we've built our reputation on reliability, professionalism, and quality workmanship. We're looking for a motivated Crew Lead to join our team and help drive our continued growth.
Position Overview
As a Crew Lead, you will be responsible for managing a small crew while performing lawn maintenance and property services. You will ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to Terra Firma's quality standards while providing leadership and support to your team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a lawn maintenance crew on a daily basis
- Operate commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform grass cutting, trimming, edging, and property cleanups
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards
- Complete daily route assignments on schedule
- Train and mentor crew members
- Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with management regarding job progress and issues
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when interacting with clients
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous lawn maintenance, landscaping, or property maintenance experience
- Leadership or crew supervision experience preferred
- Valid G Driver's License with a clean abstract
- Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturdays during peak season
- 7:00 AM start time
- 40–60 hours per week depending on season and workload
