Yellowridge Construction is currently seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to lead our team on a federal infrastructure project located at the Pleasant Camp Border Crossing in the Stikine Region of Northern British Columbia. This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent who thrives in a remote environment, enjoys leading site operations, and is committed to delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Read and review project drawings and specifications.
- Supervise all trades on the job site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate site survey locations and obtain final building survey certificates.
- Coordinate site inspections and testing while maintaining daily site housekeeping.
- Organize, chair, and document weekly trade coordination and toolbox meetings.
- Complete quantity take-offs for required materials, obtain competitive pricing, and issue purchase orders as required.
- Receive and verify site deliveries, documenting shortages or damage as necessary.
- Review and manage Shop Drawings (SDs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Site Instructions (SIs), Change Directives (CDs), Change Orders (COs), and Commitment Change Orders (CCOs).
- Complete onboarding and offboarding documentation for site personnel.
- Lead site safety initiatives in accordance with WorkSafeBC Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Yellowridge's Safety Program.
- Complete daily diaries and weekly site safety inspection reports.
- Document and report injuries, incidents, and safety concerns.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Construction Site Superintendent on federal, institutional, commercial, healthcare, educational, or other complex construction projects.
- Proven ability to lead site teams and coordinate multiple trades.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, scheduling, and quality control.
- Thorough knowledge of WorkSafeBC Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Project Location & Requirements
This position is based at the Pleasant Camp Border Crossing in the Stikine Region of Northern British Columbia, on the Alaska border. Due to the remote nature of the project, the successful candidate should be prepared to live on-site, at a nearby campsite, or in cabin accommodations for the duration of the project.
A valid passport is considered a strong asset, as occasional travel to Alaska may be required to source materials and support project operations. Please note that the nearest Canadian community is approximately four hours away, so candidates should be comfortable working in a remote location.
Because this is a federal project, the successful candidate must be able to obtain the required security clearance prior to accessing the site. This includes:
- Successfully completing an RCMP Criminal Record Check through fingerprint scanning.
- Providing a five-year residential history as part of the federal site access clearance process.

Pay: $125,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
