Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be proficient in various construction tasks. This position involves working on residential job sites where attention to detail and craftsmanship are essential. The Carpenter will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics, utilizing hand and power tools, and ensuring high-quality finishes in all work completed.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, drywall, and other materials.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
- Perform drywall installation and finishing as required.
- Install siding on buildings to enhance aesthetics and protection against weather elements.
- Restore existing structures through repair or remodeling efforts.
- Lift heavy materials as needed during construction projects.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including framing, roofing, and cabinetry.
- Experience with drywall installation, siding application, tile laying, and masonry work is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently.
- Proficient in using both hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, sanders).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
