Full-Time Seasonal General Labourer
Blythe Dale Sand & Gravel is currently seeking motivated, reliable, and hardworking Full-Time Seasonal General Labourers to join our team.
If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in keeping a worksite clean and organized, and aren't afraid of physical work, we'd like to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aggregates industry while working alongside an experienced team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general site cleanup around the plant, yard, and shop
- Clean and maintain company equipment, including vac trucks and other mobile equipment
- Assist with housekeeping duties throughout the facility
- Shovel, sweep, and maintain clean, safe work areas
- Assist with organizing tools, materials, and equipment
- Support plant, maintenance, and shop personnel with general labour tasks
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as required
- Report hazards or unsafe conditions promptly
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, bending, and performing repetitive manual labour
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Previous experience in construction, aggregates, landscaping, farming, or industrial labour is considered an asset but is not required
