These Support Team Member positions will include a scheduled rotation of weekday and weekend; day and evening and overnight (sleep and awake) 8-12 -24 hour shifts. We are hiring multiple positions for our new home so there will be flexibility in shift selection based on needs of staff and participants. These positions entail working with a 1-2 individuals on their goals and requires dynamic individuals who can balance schedule changes gracefully and adapt to ever changing needs. Seeking a team player; must have good physical and mental health, be dynamic and a good communicator.
Support of individuals funded by PDD; concurrently need support with significant complex mental health, addictions / recovery, medical support, behavior support, judicial. Experience with PDD and complex mental health. Must have experience with complex behavior support. Experience with youth, addictions and recovery; an asset.
Positions to include support for daily life; life skills, personal care, appointments, program and emotional support, employment and community access while supporting individuals to manage their complex needs; high risk support and behavior supports. Expectations include team and case load planning, daily documentation.
Must have leadership qualities, be organized, a good problem solver, RELIABLE, initiative and attention to detail. Must have the ability to work independently and within a team. Experience with support and outreach job capacities; an asset. Experience running a home; an asset. Must have a driver's license and vehicle, clean driving record.
Potential for growth and leadership roles. Wage dependent on experience.
