Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Work Location: On-site, Saulter Street
Compensation: $55,000- $65,000 per year, dependant on experience

The Position
At Real Food for Real Kids, we're on a mission to fuel healthy futures by preparing and delivering tens of thousands of fresh meals and snacks to children every day.
We're looking for a highly organized, proactive People & Office Coordinator to help keep our people, workplace, and administrative systems running smoothly. This role combines workplace operations, health and safety coordination, employee support, and administrative project work.
You'll be the person who notices opportunities to improve processes, creates systems that make work easier, and helps ensure employees have the tools, information, and the support they need to succeed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, loves creating order from complexity, and gets excited about finding smarter ways of working through technology, automation, AI tools, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Workplace Operations & Administration
- Coordinate office operations, supplies, signage, mail, visitor management, and workplace systems
- Support company events, employee meetings, training sessions, and special projects
- Serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
- Leverage technology, automation, and AI tools to reduce administrative burden and improve effectiveness
Health & Safety Coordination
- Coordinate Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings, documentation, and follow-up activities
- Maintain health and safety records, training documentation, and compliance tracking
- Support inspections, audits, corrective actions, WSIB administration, and return-to-work programs
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, fire wardens, and annual drills
Employee & HR Support
- Assist with the coordination and administration of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding activities.
- Support employee engagement initiatives by coordinating recognition programs, wellness activities, social events, and company celebrations
- Maintain accurate employee training records, certifications, attendance logs, and learning documentation to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with training administration within learning management systems
- Support HR reporting, compliance tracking, and employment documentation
Employee Experience & Culture
- Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives
- Support with planning company events, team-building activities, and learning opportunities
- Maintain internal communication channels and newsletters
- Support professional development programs and culture-building projects
- Support employee recognition initiatives by promoting Kudos, service anniversaries, birthdays, and other recognition programs through internal communication channels.
About You
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in administration, office coordination, workplace operations, or employee support roles
- Proficiency with Google Workspace & Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A passion for building systems and improving processes
- Comfort using technology, software platforms, and AI tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
- Alignment with RFRK’s values and mission
Additional Skills
- Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to create professional internal & external communications, presentations, signage, newsletters, and employee engagement materials.
- Event planning and employee engagement program coordination

- Experience working with an HRIS & Learning Management System
