Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to sanitation standards.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring that all items are presented attractively.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards throughout food preparation and service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong background in food service or the food industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Strong time management abilities to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
