Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Cook menu items with consistency, quality, adhereing to recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station and utensils
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Restock supplies and ensure all ingredients are stored properly
- Adhere to health department regulations and sanitation standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and kitchen operations
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent attention to detail
