Job Summary
We are seeking an Environmental H&S Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with a consumer packaged goods manufacturing organization in Burlington, ON. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for a health, safety, training, and environmental professional who enjoys working closely with operations teams to strengthen workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct facility inspections, support regulatory compliance, and maintain readiness for ISO audits.
- Participate in incident investigations, lead root cause analysis, and help implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training for new hires, contractors, and current employees.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analysis, ergonomic assessments, and safety inspections of the site and equipment.
- Maintain safety metrics, incident reports, environmental records, and site environmental aspects and impacts.
- Collaborate with supervisors, employees, and the Health and Safety Committee to identify hazards and improve safety culture.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.
