Help Us Turn Data Into Action
We're looking for who has an in-depth knowledge of Business Central to create Power BI Reports. This is a short-term contract assignment with the possibility of additional assignments.
This is a hands-on role focused on quickly building meaningful dashboards, reports, and business insights that help leaders make better decisions. We need someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training, must understand Business Central data structures, and can independently develop reporting solutions.
This is initially a 2-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and build Power BI dashboards and reports from Business Central data
Work directly with department leaders to understand reporting requirements
Create executive dashboards for Sales, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Inventory
Develop KPIs, scorecards, trends, and performance metrics
Build and optimize data models, relationships, and DAX calculations
Identify reporting opportunities and recommend improvements
Ensure reports are accurate, reliable, and easy to understand
Document report logic and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
Required Experience
- You must have Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
- Advanced Power BI development experience
- Experience working with Business Central tables, data structures, and reporting requirements
- Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
- Experience building executive and operational dashboards
- Ability to work independently and deliver quickly
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience with manufacturing, distribution, inventory, or ERP reporting
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or SQL
- Experience integrating multiple data sources into Power BI

Pay: $50.00-$75.00 per hour
