We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rheumatology Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with rheumatic diseases.
Conduct patient assessments and monitor treatment response.
Administer biologic and injectable medications safely.
Educate patients on medications, disease management, and lifestyle.
Coordinate referrals, investigations, and follow-up appointments.
Assist physicians during consultations and procedures.
Monitor laboratory results and communicate concerns.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Support quality improvement initiatives and infection control.
Qualifications
Current RN/ LPN registration in British Columbia.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience in rheumatology or internal medicine preferred (training provided).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
