Overview:
We seek individuals with a proven track record of teaching Science and a passion for making a difference in students' lives to join our team. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students to foster their love for science. This is a part-time position.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver effective science lessons that align with the BC / AP / IB curriculum
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and improvement
- Establish clear classroom rules and expectations for behavior
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, and mark/grade assignments
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry, Physics, or Biology at the senior secondary, AP/IB, or college level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in the learning process
