Reporting to the VP Operations, this position is responsible for all hotel operations of BCP. You are responsible for coordinating, standardizing and optimizing hotel operations that meet or exceed financial targets, guest satisfaction and employee experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include but are not limited to;
- Uphold and enhance the hotel operating standards and procedures through managing and coordinating with individual hotel General Managers;
- Develop and manage tactics that support the hotel strategy developed by BCP executives;
- Analyze and monitor hotel operating costs and work with hotel General Managers to optimize them;
- Analyze and monitor hotel guest satisfaction scores and work with hotel General Managers to optimize them;
- Manage relationships with vendors to ensure that BCP is receiving proper cost and quality for hotel operational supplies and services;
- Support and develop hotel operation team training and standards;
- Support and develop hotel operation teams, organizational structures and resources;
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in hospitality operation management is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with proven ability to motivate and lead employees in a busy, high quality environment.
- Very strong understanding of hotel financials, budgets, and forecasts, and key metrics.
- Superb organizational skills including time management, collaboration, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to respond to urgent operational issues
- Demostrated commitment to constant improvement and excellence.
- A thorough knowledge of Microsoft based software and hotel property management software.
- Good understanding of physical hotel building systems including mechanical, electrical and plumbing infrastructure.
