Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Skilled Hardscaper/ Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both landscaping and hardscaping, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating stunning outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement designs, construct, and install various landscape features including patios, pool decks, walkways, armour stone, and retaining walls.
- Perform all aspects of landscaping, including site preparation, surveying, leveling, and setting grades and elevations.
- Utilize landscaping and masonry skills to build and install a variety of residential landscape designs.
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment including skid-steers, mini-excavators, grinders and cut off saws, water and table saws.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Masonry and concrete skills are a plus
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a landscaper and hardscaper.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques and hardscape skills.
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery and hardscape tools safely and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (DZ license a plus).
- Experience loading, driving and reversing trailers.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
