Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Event Staff to join our team for various events and functions. This role involves engaging with guests, ensuring smooth event operations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment. Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or food service is a plus, but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in public speaking, customer interaction, and event management.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their needs throughout the event
- Manage guest check-in and registration processes efficiently
- Provide information about event activities and answer guest inquiries
- Support food service operations, including serving and handling food items when necessary
- Handle cash transactions accurately during ticketing or merchandise sales
- Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees by monitoring the event environment
- Engage with children and families in a friendly, professional manner when applicable
- Support guest services by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
Experience
- Prior experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate with guests and team members
- Customer service experience in hospitality, food service, or guest relations is advantageous
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic food service operations is a plus
- Ability to remain professional, approachable, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
- Previous experience in event support or similar roles will be beneficial but is not required; training will be provided to successful candidates
