Position
Reporting to the paint shop supervisor, the sandblaster must master the art of sandblasting in order to sandblast manufactured equipment or components. He or she will also be required to move painted parts using a forklift.
Responsibilities
- Clean tools and equipment (sanders, sandblasters, and other tools) using cleaning products;
- Load, unload, and transport painted parts to the designated area ;
- Clean the work area ;
- Perform various related manual tasks ;
- Perform any other related or non-standard tasks within the department.
Qualifications
- Good physical condition;
- Ability to work well in hot conditions;
- Team player who follows company rules and procedures.
