Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Crew Member to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional food service experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing food, managing customer transactions, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the food industry, including customer service, food handling, and sanitation practices. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Manage cashier duties efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain a safe environment
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and accurately
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or carrying supplies or equipment as needed
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if necessary
