Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate hydraulic and mechanical presses to manufacture friction products according to specifications
- Set up machines, including tooling, materials, and calibration for production runs
- Monitor press operations to ensure consistent product quality and output
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
- Must be willing to do heavy lifting
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or press operation role preferred
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing/industrial environment
- May require shift work, including evenings or weekends
- Exposure to machinery noise, heat, and industrial materials
- Dusty environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour
