Project Manager:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.
Project Manager - Job Description:
The Project Manager will be part of a core central FRTB Program Management Team, responsible for ensuring the timely execution of deliverables across all workstreams while imparting subject matter expertise and know-how. The role focuses on transformation and change management within Capital Markets to address regulatory, audit, risk, and control issues.
Project Manager - Responsibilities:
- Lead transformation/change management with a focus on Capital Markets initiatives.
- Collaborate with Global Markets stakeholders to influence and build relationships.
- Manage multiple stakeholders to derive business requirements and assist Technology with translation into technical requirements.
- Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives.
- Identify challenges and proactively resolve or escalate risks and issues.
- Produce accurate project update materials for various forums and committees.
- Build strong relationships to support program execution.
Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
- Experience with FRTB and/or front office regulatory initiatives.
- Experience with derivatives trading, risk, and P&L flows.
- Proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions.
- Significant experience in Capital Markets Transformation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of performance tracking and communication mechanisms.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in Markets, Risk, and Regulatory projects/programs.
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP).
- Experience with JIRA and Agile tech framework.
Project Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position until June 30, 2027.
