Job Summary
Carbon Medical Services Ltd. is hiring Alberta Registered ACP for local to Edmonton area work. Home every night. NO LOA or lodging will be offered. Rotation is 10 days on and 4 days off as per the client. Job start June. 30, 2026. Successful person will drive a Carbon vehicle from home to the job site so you will not be using personal vehicle. Days are based on a 12 hour day and the pay is $750.00/day.
Required tickets are you must have H2S Alive, Common Safety Orientation (CSO), steel toe boots and a clean drivers abstract.
Carbon Medical is located in Nisku, AB.
Carbon Medical works diligently so that you can work within your scope of practice. All of our stock is up to date and we diligently work on trying not to send anyone out with expired gear. Carbon has a Medical Director and we have an open door policy with all of our staff. Our General Manager is an Advanced Care Paramedic/FF that is registered and in good standing with ACoP. Our main office is in Nisku, AB.

- If working a minimum of 14 days a month, after 3 months and continuously working minimum of 14 days a month, Carbon will pay up to $75.00/month for Alberta Blue Cross or other health benefits (with receipt being submitted),
- PPE provided such as hard hat, safety glasses, Carbon shirts, Carbon coveralls.
- Shifts are 12 hours,
- Carbon has Workhub which will allow you to view all of our policies and procedures. Carbon is also utilizing tablets and Starlinks and tablets on every unit, so it makes paperwork 95% paperless with tablets on every site. You can also use our tablets as phones, so no personal numbers are given out.
Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the situation to determine the appropriate course of action.
- Administer medications and provide advanced life support as needed.
- Perform patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and medical history collection.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment provided during emergencies.
- Operate emergency medical equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Assist with heavy lifting of patients when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
