Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Sheet Metal Worker to our HVAC team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication, installation, and repair, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including building systems, restoration, and custom fabrication, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components for various construction projects using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise measurements and specifications
- Perform tasks related to construction painting, caulking, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, and tile laying as needed for project completion
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged sheet metal parts
- Use construction skills such as carpentry and schematics reading to support project requirements
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Sheet Metal Worker
- Proven experience with hand tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and construction techniques
- Knowledge of caulking, welding, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, and construction painting is preferred
- Strong understanding of restoration processes and construction safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and working at heights as required
