Overview
We are seeking a skilled Estimator specialized in electrical estimation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical estimating (Specifically knowledge and experience with instrumentations, controls, MCC, PLC etc.) and possess strong analytical abilities to provide accurate project cost estimates.
Duties
- Utilize software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam or similar for construction estimating
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine accurate pricing
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to negotiate pricing
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost efficiency
- Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Conduct on-site visits to assess project scope and requirements
Experience
- Prior experience in electrical estimating - minimum 4 years
- Proficiency in HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other relevant software including Microsoft Office.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Ability to build accurate and comprehensive estimates for construction projects
Schedule
- 9:00am - 5:00pm; Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00-$72,400.00 per year
