About the Opportunity
IPH is looking for Plumbing apprentice or labourer with either residential, commercial or industrial experience. Based on experience, we offer several different project types, with growth to expand into all industries, come join our team!
What You Will Do
- Install drainage systems using PVC and cast iron piping.
- Install hydronic heating systems with welded, threaded, press and Victaulic connections, including in-slab radiant heating.
- Run water services from underground mains to stainless-steel, copper or PVC distribution lines.
- Perform gas fitting and hookup in accordance with applicable codes.
- Coordinate equipment installations and using cranes or other rigging
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings and 3D models to ensure accurate installation.
- Other related duties.
About You
- We are hiring all levels of apprentices and skilled laboureres
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset, actively seeks and applies constructive feedback, and is willing to adapt to evolving industry and new technologies.
- Enjoys both working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational skills and attention to detail leading to a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willing and able to travel to various job sites as required; Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various environments and all weather conditions.
