Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Analyst with 8 10+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, and Dynamics 365 solution delivery. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to analyze requirements, optimize business processes, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD).
Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional and technical requirements.
Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements from initiation through deployment.
Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements using Dynamics 365 capabilities.
Dynamics 365 Analysis & Solution Design
Support the configuration, deployment, enhancement, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
Provide expertise across Dynamics 365 modules including:
Sales
Customer Service
Finance
Operations
Marketing
Work with development and architecture teams to design scalable and effective business solutions.
Validate solution design aligns with business objectives and operational requirements.
Agile Delivery & Collaboration
Create, maintain, and manage user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as:
Sprint Planning
Daily Standups
Sprint Reviews
Retrospectives
Support SAFe Agile activities including PI Planning and cross-team coordination.
Assist Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and planning activities.
Data Analysis & Integration
Ensure data accuracy, validation, quality, and integrity across integrated systems.
Collaborate on enterprise integrations by identifying data mapping and transformation requirements.
Support reporting, analytics, and business insights through Power BI dashboards and data models.
Perform data analysis to support business decision-making and solution validation.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, system demonstrations, and review meetings.
Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Manage stakeholder expectations and drive consensus on business solutions.
User Adoption, Training & Change Management
Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
Develop user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
Support change management initiatives during system implementation and rollout.
Assist with release communications and user adoption strategies.
Agile Coaching & Team Enablement
Promote Agile and SAFe best practices across teams.
Coach teams toward improved collaboration and self-organization.
Support backlog health and ensure alignment with business goals.
Identify and remove impediments impacting project delivery.
Support & Operations
Provide enterprise application support for Dynamics 365 environments.
Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with technical teams for resolution.
Assess risks and make informed recommendations to ensure project success.
Support ongoing system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
8 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules:
Sales
Customer Service
Finance
Operations
Marketing
Experience configuring, implementing, deploying, and optimizing Dynamics 365 solutions.
Strong expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and solution design.
Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, use cases, workflow diagrams, and user stories.
Solid understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies.
Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
